Interactive Design & Multisensory Exploration

Design as Dimensional Multiplication.
Equipo: Alegre, Bastino, Borches, Cortez, Pérez, Minoletti.
Icosahedron is more than a shape—it’s a seed expanding across three scales, three experiences, and multiple sensory dimensions. The project was developed within the Master’s in Interactive Design (MAEDI) at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU, UBA), blending artistic vision, design methodology, and scientific inquiry.

From the Tangible to the Immersive.
Each version of the icosahedron creates a distinct interaction with space and the body:
IcoTaq: A tactile, modular game exploring connection, chance, and geometry through magnetism.
IcoReact: An interactive light installation where icosahedrons pulse with light when touched—an emotional, luminous choreography.
IcoDom: An immersive sound dome combining spatial design, acoustic experimentation, and ephemeral architecture.

Interaction as Language
This project reimagines interactive design as a poetic act and collective experiment, where form becomes a system—of relationships, of emotion, of discovery.
