Curiosa Botánica 1 is more than a science book — it's a sensorial tool for learning, exploration, and connection with the natural world. Tailored for early primary education, it introduces botanical knowledge through a thoughtful mix of storytelling, visual identity, and pedagogical design.

Focus on learning through design.

Commissioned by Generación Semilla, this project was driven by the desire to reimagine how science is taught in early childhood — not as cold facts, but as an experience.

As art director, I led the visual narrative, integrating three illustration styles (botanical, fictional, character-based), while also shaping the editorial architecture and information flow.

Each section was color-coded to match its intent:

Cognitive cues (e.g., color-coded keywords linked to infographics).

Layered layout pacing to guide attention gently.

Notebook format with elastic band, stickers, a botanical collecting envelope, and blank pages — encouraging kids to explore and own their discoveries.
